AACN selects 6 Indianapolis hospitals for rollout of Clinical Picture Investigator Academy The American Association of Critical-Treatment Nurses has selected six Indianapolis hospitals as the initial participants to launch its hospital-based nurse leadership and innovation training curriculum. The hospitals will be the 1st to be chosen in the national rollout of AACN Clinical Scene Investigator Academy. The program is made to empower bedside nurses as clinician leaders and transformation brokers whose initiatives measurably improve patient outcomes with bottom-line impact to the hospital. As the only nursing leadership and excellence skill-building program that provides hospitals with both educational equipment and grant funding, AACN CSI Academy represents a significant investment by AACN in the future of nursing.The scholarly study was published online Oct. 15 in the journal JAMA Oncology. The researchers said there are many reasons it’s important for those who have lower incomes to become more involved with clinical trials. Income offers been associated with health status, so having low income people in a study study would make the findings more generalizable to a more substantial group of people, the study authors noted.
